Professions at Risk


You might be wondering who is at the highest risk of having an accident whilst abroad. Certainly, there are several occupations that put their employees in especially high jeopardy. These include the timber industry, commercial fishing, and commercial pilots. In addition, people are at increased risk of accident if they do jobs involving extensive driving.

For those going abroad for non-work related reasons, sporting activities such as skiing can lead to strains, sprains, and fractures. Then, of course, there are the incidents that none of us can possibly predict: the slips and falls, illnesses, and road accidents that can cut holidays short and cause ongoing physical problems for months and years to come.
